Pack 3 Safety Shred Days Weekend

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th of January 2024

Experience a complete weekend of training and riding in the relaxed and freeride atmosphere of the Safety Shred Days !
Practical and theoretical training, riding, parties, movie night and much more, the recipe for a weekend as smart as fun between enthusiasts. The perfect opportunity to learn how to be better prepared to enjoy the powder all winter long ! 

Minimum age required to participate: 16 years old
 

The risk management and avalanche rescue training day is available in three levels:

• Novice: use an avalanche transceiver efficiently to find a victim, practice probing and shoveling techniques, first aid as well as the basics of snowology and mountaineering

• Intermediate: real-life scenarios

• Expert: go riding, analyze the terrain with our guides and manage a group in freeride. 

The level is to be chosen at the next stage of the booking.

The registration to the SSD Weekend of 13 and 14/01 includes:

• The 2-day Espace San Bernardo ski pass to access the ski area

• Access to the Movie Night on Friday evening for those already present in La Rosière

• The practical and theoretical training day

• Access to the SSD Party on Saturday evening

• The registration to the banked slalom and participation in other fun activities (splitboard, ski touring)

• Catering: breakfast and lunch on Saturday + lunch on Sunday

Please note that the day starts at 8:30am on Saturday.
 

Equipment to provide:

• Your skis or snowboard to access the practical workshops

• Your assembly safety equipment (DVA, shovel, etc.). If you are not equipped, equipment can be lent to you on site within the limits of availability.

• Your brain because “The Mountain has no brain…”

• Warm clothes, you will spend the day on the snow!
