In a beautiful mountain setting, the Petit Saint Bernard Pass is a place bathed in history. The Romans built a road from Vienna to Milan via the Pass. In the 12th Century, the Hospice was built and offered a place of refuge for the travellers. Today, the very same building still offers shelter and gite style accommodation for modern day travellers. The Hospice is accessible by the main road that passes from France to Italy and is surrounded by various hiking trails.
The accommodation is similar to the style of a mountain refuge. There are 7 dormitory style rooms with between 2 and 8 beds. The bed linen is provided. Every room has a shower room.
