Riding Day - Guide : Sunday January 12th 2025

A unique day of riding for everyone, with two options to suit all tastes this year: Banked Slalom or a half-day ride with a guide!

Here you’ll opt for a half-day experience with a certified mountain guide—a unique chance to deepen your skills in off-piste skiing, ski touring, or splitboarding while practicing risk management in a structured environment. Explore the freeride/backcountry areas of La Rosière - Espace San Bernardo to refine your skills or try something new, all in the safety of a professional-guided setting and at an accessible rate.

Departures available at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, with limited spots per workshop.

Registration for Riding Day - Guide Includes:

• A half-day with a certified mountain guide, with workshops of your choice
• 1-day Espace San Bernardo lift pass
• Lunch

Equipment Required :

• Skis or snowboard (ski touring/splitboard with skins if choosing a touring session)
• Mandatory mountain safety gear (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, backpack, helmet)

Workshop Options* :

• Freeride & Side Hits Ski/Snowboard: Discover the best freeride spots in Espace San Bernardo. For example, conditions permitting, you could tackle the famous North Face of Mont Valaisan, known for its technical descents and diverse terrain.
• Splitboard/Ski Touring - Beginner: Get introduced to the basics of splitboarding or ski touring. Learn how to handle the equipment (skin setup, kick turns) and make your own tracks.
• Splitboard/Ski Touring - Advanced: For experienced participants, this session takes you off the beaten path in La Rosière to explore wilder areas that require some hiking. Enjoy less-traveled routes and refine your uphill and downhill techniques while applying advanced risk management skills in challenging conditions.
