At a time of climate change and a strong desire to make a success of our ecological and energy transition, the role of forests and the timber industry is once again playing a key role in our society.
However, this position is not self-evident; the issues and sensitivities surrounding the forest are so numerous that opinions are polarized.
The Forest Communes wanted to rely on artists to create a show on the theme of the forest and the wood industry. The goal was to de-escalate the debate and use the world of theater and drawing to introduce the general public to a complex world. This show is designed with a focus on popular education, aiming to eliminate preconceived notions and enable everyone to understand the issues surrounding the forest, the wood industry, climate change, and the ecological transition.
